PLEASE
READ THE SAFETY COMMENT SECTION,
IF NOTHING ELSE to fully
understand the dangers of any
games. IT'S FOR YOU AND YOUR
CHILDRENS
SAFETY!!!!!!!
SAFETY
COMMENTS AND
INFORMATION
In
the world we all live in today we
have games / activities that
range from playing cards to the
eXtreme GAMES, such as sky
boarding, bungee jumping, and
diving just to name a few. But
one unique fact remains a part of
all of these games. We try to be
prepared for that emergency that
we know can happen (and the odds
say will happen). We wear safety
gear, learn and practice
procedures. We understand what
could happen. And when it does
happen we hope it is the 'other
person', Remember 'it won't
happen to me???
UNLESS YOU
ARE THAT
PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have laws that require car
seats for our children, bicycle
helmets, knee, hand, face, chest,
etc proctors. You want to protect
your children. SO DO
WE!!!!!!!!!!!
FUNDUNK provides rule signs,
either on the units or stand
alones for each unit that needs
it. FUNDUNK sends type
written copies, with the
contract, for you to read and
make copies of. FUNDUNK
goes over the safety rules when
we set the games. FUNDUNK
provides written rules for the
people who are go to be
attendants, the people who are
going to be in charge, and
require that our clients sign a
statement that they understands
the dangers and safety rules
involved in operating these
games. FUNDUNK does
everything we can to make our
games safe, BUT, we cannot
control how YOU as the
adult/parent/attendant will make
the kids obey the rules. If you
read them, you will see that most
of the rules are nothing more
than common sense.
Most people think that
inflatable games are just
big air pillows and you
can't get hurt. THAT IS
WRONG. It is a big pillow 'of
a sort' but when it is full of
air it is tight. That is what
gives the bounce. It does not
'give' like a pillow does. If you
fall wrong, something will give,
and in to many instances it's the
body. There have been broken
arms, legs, necks, backs,
fingers. There have even be
deaths and 99.99% could have be
prevented by the attendant simply
saying 'DON'T DO THAT' and
if the person keeps on doing it
make them get off the game. If
that doesn't work then pull the
plug. That will get everyone's
attention and normally that
activity will stop.
AS AN ATTENDANT OF THESE GAMES
, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE
VIGILANT AND OBSERVE WHAT IS
HAPPINING IN YOUR AREA OF
RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL TIMES,
(talk to that person you haven't
seen for a while. While you look
away, bam, it just happened AND
SOMEBODY IS HURT!!!). It only
takes a split second for someone
to get hurt. Injuries generally
happen because the rules were not
enforced. Because we did not
think anything could happen.
Remember KIDS HAVE NO
FEAR. Fear is a learned
behavior that only comes later
after we, or someone very close
to us, have been hurt.
Remember, we are all here to
have fun. Let's not ruin the fun
by letting someone get hurt
because we can't or won't say
'NO'. Please don't be a
parent/volunteer that let's a
child get hurt because you won't
do the job you agreed to do. If
you won't protect the child, by
being a parent and an adult, who
else will? Is that not also a
form of child abuse?? `You are
the 'grown up'. Remember it
is YOU and YOUR VOLUNTEERS
responsibility to safely operate
our games.
FUNDUNKS responsibility is to
provide the games in good working
order, and to make sure they are
set up properly. We cannot make
your kids follow the rules short
of pulling the plug on your event
(we will do so if we deem it
necessary), but YOU can.
Remember, AN INJURY STOPS THE FUN
FOR EVERYONE

WEATHER
POLICY:
We
all like to hope that our event
will be spared bad weather, but
we cannot control the weather any
more than you so keep up with the
weather forecasts and keep us
informed as to YOUR inclement
weather plans.
INCLEMENT WEATHER IS DEFINED
AS ANY WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT
MAKE OPERATION THE GAMES UNSAFE
(EX. RAIN, SPRINKLING, HIGH
WINDS, EXCESIVELY WET OR MUDDY
GROUND, ETC
).
Since the weather in Arkansas is
unpredictable and neither the
renter nor FUNDUNK can change it,
our inclement weather policy is
as follows: a written
notice of change or cancellation
from the RENTER/LESSEE
must be received by FDE, Inc.,
within 48 hours of event,
for a refund to be made.
Otherwise, if notice is given
24 hours or less before the event
there will be NO REFUND but THE
EVENT CAN BE RESCHEDULED to a
later date, at the convenience of
BOTH parties. IF THE RENTER HAS
NOT CANCELLED OR RESCHEDULED THE
EVENT BY THE TIME OUR DELIVERY
DRIVER HAS LEFT THE WAREHOUSE OR
IF DRIVER ARRIVES TO FIND
INCLEMENT WEATHER AT THE DELIVERY
SITE, THE GAMES WILL NOT BE SET
AND THE CONTRACT WILL BE DEEMED
TO BE COMPLETED AND PAYABLE IN
FULL!! In the event of some
unforeseen circumstance occurs,
causing FDE, Inc. to
cancel, any payments made will be
returned to the RENTER or the
activity rescheduled, as
available and agreeable to both
parties.
